Barbie is our self-entitled Front Desk Goddess. With a varied background in retail, floral design, elementary education and childcare, Barbie married into the dental profession. She began managing the office in 1994 just after the youngest Allen child started kindergarten.
Barbie is the first smile you’ll meet when visiting our practice. She is an enthusiastic people person and assumes the roles of friend, counselor, babysitter, hand holder, tear dryer, financial planner and hostess for our patients. She will do everything she can to make sure your concerns are quelled and your visit is unforgettably comfortable.
Barbie and Dr. Allen are both on the board of Mission Arlington and members of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. They enjoy spending time with their two daughters, Ashley and Amy, who live in Dallas, and visiting their son, Bob, who lives in Fort Collins, CO. They love to go snow skiing and travel the state in their camper.
